How To Stop Skin Flashing One Colour To Another

First topic message reminder :

Hello 

I am trying to work out "How To Stop Skin Flashing One Colour To Another" 

The two forums I have originally has a Blue and White skins, however I have changed the mainboard from White 
to Grey and Sky Blue.
However when going to a category the page for a split second goes to the original white then changes
to the changed colours.

One forum has a base skin set on Dark Blue which I found on a free skins site, however this does not stop the main forum
from changing to white. The other I have just changed the main forum white to grey with the same problem..... any ideas

The problem is we don't see the screen flash problem have you gave firefox a try and see if that has the same problem ?

I could maybe look at your CSS files later if i get some time as I'm working form home today and the boys are at their grans for the day.

Okay right away I see a small problem.

This should not give a problem with loading the page BUT it's not working.

All my browsers do a white flash first before returning to the grey background.
Google Chrome, Windows Edge, Firefox and Avast (My Internet Security and Anti Virus).

Okay I have looked over your CSS files and can't really see a problem on both sites ( in fact )
you have really little CSS files to worry about.

I have fixed the font awesome icons problem you had removed the JavaScript that made it work.

Now working how it should.

Also I have seen you take a lot of screen shot's so this when a big topic can take time to load your page this in turn shows your loading of the page This could be the reason it is flashing as it is trying to open and close to much at a time

Ok thank you very much Jenny, yes I am a heavy screen capture taker it's a shame that Servimg does not upload six across like all uploaders.    

I do appreciate the advice relating to Windows 7 which is probably adding to the problems I am having.
As for my Windows 10 desk top I will see if I can find space for it at my Mum's home.

@cassini have you thought about maybe upgrading it for free from windows 7 to 10 you can do this on the Microsoft website and you can do a fresh install or you can keep your old files.

I did my dads computer when windows 10 first come out.

Thanks Ape, The problem is if I do an upgraded install I will lose all my photos (Not Screen Captures). I could buy a few USB Memory sticks to save photos. 

No you will not you can install windows 10 and save all your photo's you just Upgrade it will ask you if you want to do a fresh install or keep your old files when you go in to setup
