Looking For Ideas To Upgrade An Old Board

Hello Ape and Skouliki  

I thought I would ask you both seeing that you have done alot of work for me which I do appreciated  

I have had a good clear out of an old board I was using for archives, found a skin I could play around with the colours and changed the forum to Invison for a change. I done the header and avatar myself however maybe it could be improved.   If the header and avatar could be improved, I am open to ideas I do like the Olde English style writing just to have different look to the other two boards I have on forumotion.

Header

I am looking for a black background skin with screencappingzone in Olde English writing in a wave maybe in sky blue writing similar to the header  . The current blue background is from Microsoft Word however the blue I use for the board writing is this #1FFFF4 which is as near to the background colour of the header and avatar. The blues I have on my old forum, :#1FFFF4 #92BBD1 and the black #1E1E2A.

If you could try blue background black Olde English writing like I have now and black background blue Olde English.

As for the way it looks could I see two, the first as you see it now, and the second in a wave look please, with a reel of film at the end of the writing.

Buttons that relate to TV, camera, lights, (microphone New Topic), clapper board and (sissors for Edit) (megaphone for IP)
Other possible ideas of using some of the work you done on my other sites, profile traffic lights, like button, reputation lights, forum profile shields.

Just let your creative minds go into overdrive   and of course you both will get the credit for it 
If you want the screen caps deleted let me know

Yes I would appreciate it very much, I remember something like that however we changed it to a sporting theme for the buttons. I have asked Skouliki if she could be kind enough to do a background skin with the header inside. I dont know the correct measurements, I found 200x113 in Admin panel however Tonny replied with 627x470.

The top line of forum I would like a bit bigger with either in white or a lilac colour, message light with a red light.

The latest post the white circle, could that white have a brighter light 
If you have any other ideas I would like to see them, I know that you and Skouliki have done alot for me. You can both have the credit for this board, I am only good at colours and layouts.

Most backgrounds are basic size and then just repeated to fit the background you can add a code in the CSS files to make it fit with one background. I don't know lots about the forum you are using but i can get codes if i need to by using the browser tools.

Ok, I will leave that up to you, I changed the board from phpBB to Invision, this board I used to use for playing around with skins and colours. Then when My Free Forum was going to closed I moved 7 years of screen caps over, these were not with Servimg.

Ape No longer has them buttons but you can add them if you have them on file.

You can use them as much as you like on nay forum he dose not hold a copyright to them they was made for you to use as you see fit.

I am not 100% clear what you want made up please list all the things you want help with then we can start from the top and work our way down the list one by one.

also do you want this all changed


What i mean is do you want the background changed and the text ?

if yes what colours do you want  use a hex colour code for the background and then the text colour

Seeing that Reporter Captures is now two years old, I want a break after seven years from news, sport and weather screen captures.

The theme for this site is Cinema, I have spent lots of time looking at You Tube and there are tons of clips and films that I can do screen captures. Also I want to add dramas and comadies to this list. There is no rush for this, as this will be a winter pass time hobby. Busy at work and at home at the moment however the more input from others would be great and of course you get the credit and as well as anyone else who adds their input.

It looks like the top line needs to be made a little larger to see the buttons a bit clearer, white FFFFFF
as this will be the clearest of the colours.



Editor buttons I think we will have a  Cinema theme, seeing Jenny claims that you do not have these anymore.
Colour Gold FFD700 for the background then for the icon button Black #1E1E2A

some of your items have copyright on them so we can not use them to make your buttons.

Also this is a lot to be made so it can take time as we do not have a lot of time on our hands.

Jenny said she will try and help out when she gets time,

Sadly we only deal with CSS files to make things happen on this forum but if we get time we will give it a go but some colours you have picked out like "GOLD" is not so easy to make as we would use a light orange and yellow's
