 Windows 11 update

As you will all know  Microsoft has now launched    windows 11 for them lucky ones who fit the requirement's.

Now for them who don't reach the requirement's well the sad news is you only have until 2025 to get a new computer or try and get a second hand one that will run    windows 11.

Yes there is lots of   Youtube video's out there that will show you how to install windows 11 but sadly     Microsoft will not give you all the updates you will need to keep you safe and your system up to date.

Now Yes them who do want    windows 11 can download it for free on line or your Settings for updates will let you know when you can do this.

Remember if you update and don't like it you have a short time to roll it back to your old windows. (About 10 days)  Surprised To me this is not really long enough to see if you like what you see or not.  so my advice is don't do it if you are not sure right now but sooner or later you will have to.

My computer told me that sadly I don't have all the requirements but my computer has a few issues anyway. I am working on transfering everything to flash drives so i can do a factory reset to fix some freezing issues, etc. 

Although, my mom has the update and i like it! It looks really neat.

I am still on the fence with windows 11 Neutral I like some things but i can't stand others at work we are still on win 10 and there is going to be a big update to all the systems that will will take windows 11 next year.

All windows 10 that can't be upgraded will still be used until 2025 then they will be sent to be recycled. Sadly that will be about 400 laptops and desktops Surprised what a waste of some really good fast computers baseball bat Take that Microsoft.

I for one would say 11 is not as good as 10 thou.

I managed to get a new HP computer today. It is really nice, came with Windows 11. I like the design and some of the functionalty. I can understand some of the dislikes with it. But, it also just came out and I am sure there will be updates in the future so they may make some changes to it.

Some basic updates come out on the 15th Feb 2022 Them updates are not much but there is plans of lots more.

Note that if you are in the USA you will get an Microsoft   android app update that only you will get right now (Other parts of the world will have to hold on for months, I guess they are the ones testing it)

Windows groove  will be removed and replaced with the NEW Windows 11 Media Player Don't worry the old one can still be used so I am told.(Don't worry if you don't see this right now it is getting rolled out in batches.) Read more here !!

That is very interesting. I saw the Groove player but didn't there were plans for an upgrade. I do live in the US. I guess I will keep an eye out for it. Smile

It will come in your main updates @GalaxySoul as your laptop / computer is new there will be lots of updates to go in place before this weeks one Wink

We always update every week on a Tuesday as Microsoft call it update Tuesday for bug fixes and small updates. Sadly windows 10 will not get any more updates just fix bugs and miner updates to what is already there.

Sadly there is some ways to bypass the requirements of windows 11, but it wont be guaranteed you will get updates like windows 10, or even 11...
